The Simis W Geneva programme represents the world’s largest deployment of the Trackguard Simis W digital interlocking platform with more than thousand field elements. Replacing legacy systems across a complex European rail hub, the fully redundant, software-based architecture enhances capacity, resilience, and operational agility. Delivered through rigorous systems engineering and phased migration, the scheme maintained service continuity throughout implementation. Now operational, it strengthens long-term reliability while enabling future automation and network expansion.
