Bakerloo Line Upgrade Project (BCUP)
Transport for London’s Bakerloo Control Upgrade Project delivered a new purpose-built control centre incorporating the in-house developed mTRAC system. Designed specifically for high-frequency metro operations, mTRAC enables train-centric regulation, scalable software configuration and integrated cybersecurity protection. The project modernised both systems and working environment, introducing independent backup control capability. It demonstrates strategic reinvestment in metro-focused signalling control architecture for improved reliability and passenger service.
